PUBLIC INVITATION MEETINGS OF MPAC & COUNCIL: DEVELOPMENT OF OVERSIGHT REPORT

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 130 (1) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 56 of 2003 and MFMA Circular 32, which prescribe that meetings of Council and the oversight committee at which an Annual Report is to be discussed or at which decisions concerning an annual report are taken, must be open to the public and any organs of state.
The Chair Person of Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) of the Dihlabeng Local Council Hon. Ms. E. Mokoena invites members of the public, organised labour, political parties, NGO’s and CBO’s, business community, and organs of state to the sittings of the Oversight Committee which has been scheduled as follows:



Copies of the Draft Annual Report have been made available for inspection at all municipal libraries and buildings including the Office of the Chair Person of MPAC at Bethlehem Town Hall for the period ending the 28th of February 2017.
