Road Accident Fund Outreach Programme

Office of the Speaker at Dihlabeng Local Municipality invited Road Accident Fund for an outreach programme to educate the community of Dihlabeng about their services. The presentation was held at Dihlabeng hospital on the 10 February 2017 where motorists were educated about the importance of the use of child car seats. The theme of the day was “Road Safety Begins with us, Make your pledge”. Road accident victims were urged to lodge their claims straight to road accident fund without the use of a lawyer. At the presentation, motorists were given child car seats. This presentation was a build up to the main outreach programme which was held on the 11 February 2017 at new community hall in Bohlokong. The aim was to bring Road Accident Fund services to the community of Dihlabeng. People who were injured in road accidents were assisted to lodge claims and those who already lodged claims were given updates of what is going on with their matters. Representing the office of the Mayor were MMC Matsiliso Mokoena, MMC Sophia Jacobs, ward 7 Councillor Tlaleng Mofokeng, ward 2 Councillor Moranye Twala and ward 1 Councillor Thabiso Mofokeng.
