2017/18 IDP AND BUDGET PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROGRAM

The public participation program kicked off on Monday 4th April, at Bethlehem Townhall. The MMC: Finance, cllr James Tseki supported by the Executive Mayor, cllr Lindiwe Khambule Makhalema, members of her mayoral committee, councillors, and members of senior management engaged with the leadership of several stakeholders, among them: AfriForum, Dihlabeng Ministers Fraternity, Business Organizations and other NGOs, to get their input and views on the year 2017/18 Draft IDP and Budget. The meetings with the public were preceded by the Budget Lekgotla of councillors and senior officials. The Executive Mayor is providing stern leadership to the whole process to ensure that the expectations of the community are met.
