    logoThe Dihlabeng Local municipality has resolved on the 27 January 2016 in Council setting to extend the 50% discount of 13 October 2015 under item 64/2015 in term of its Policy on Credit Control and Debt Collection and Writing off irrecoverable debt and account accrued from 90 days and more. These incentives will only apply to applicants who want to settle outstanding/arrear account in full and will be for a period 27 January to 30 April 2016. All debtors in the following categories can lodge application with Credit Control and Debt Collection as from the 27th January 2016.

    * Residential household consumers
    * Churches
    * Non-profitable organisations
    * Body corporates
    * Trusts
    * Close corporations(CC)
    * Vacant stands
    * Properties bought on auction

    Application can be lodged during office hours from 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday with the following officials:

    All debtors are therefore encouraged by Dihlabeng Local Municipality to take advantage of these incentives and are urged to pay all outstanding and arrear accounts. This benefit may be Council’s Last Act of Grace to defaulting clients before strict credit control actions are implemented.

    Why wait and risk being late? An account in arrears only brings tears.

    NB. All customers who are making their payments via EFT & electronically must submit their proof of payment to the above mentioned officials.

    As from the 1st April 2016 all payments made via EFT without the correct reference, thus nine (9) digits number which start with 10000/1000 or 20000/2000 will be rejected. Please make sure to use the correct reference and check with your financial institution.
